Methodology

How BNPLmart documents information

BNPLmart separates documented facts, unavailable information, historical information and editorial analysis.

Core principles

Primary sources first

Where possible, BNPLmart relies on official provider documentation, regulatory sources and other authoritative primary material.

No inference from missing information

If a characteristic cannot be established from available evidence, it is labelled Not established rather than assumed to be Yes or No.

Verification dates

Material provider information includes a Last verified date when appropriate.

Changing information

BNPL products, markets, eligibility, integrations, fees and regulation can change. Information is treated as time-sensitive.

Corrections

Readers and providers can report outdated information. Correction contact details will be published here.

Evidence statuses

  • Documented — supported by primary sources.
  • Partial — some attributes documented, others not established.
  • Not established — no reliable evidence found.
  • Not researched — not yet examined.
  • Historical — previously documented, may no longer apply.

Independence

Documented information is kept visually and editorially separate from any commercial relationship. Future affiliate or sponsored placements will be labelled and will not determine factual descriptions.
